I founded Exposed while living in Calgary as a platform for fashion designers, musicians, artists, and start-up businesses to showcase their work and network with the community. I created Exposed in hopes of putting more artists and entrepreneurs on the map. I organized and executed four of these events with different vendors and artists with an average of 150 attendees per event. This event series was my way of giving back to the creative community and highlighting people in the art scene.
Not only was Exposed about showcasing the artists involved but also showcasing different venues and staples in the city. I hosted events at Last Best Brewing & Distilling, Local 522, The Commons, Vagabond and The Libertine Public House. I had local bands perform such as Windigo, The Ashley Hundred, I Am The Mountain, Lunar Wilde, Amelie Patterson, Jay Fletch, M.J.M, In Search of Sasquatch and more. I also had numerous of start-ups, jewellers, artists, and fashion designers involved such as NRT Fashions and 6Streets Clothing.

BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS
Bright Young Things featured an innovative performance by the emerging artists of Alberta Ballet II, a fashion exhibit by celebrated designer Paul Hardy, and a guest performance by world renowned violnist Sophie Serafino. Guests mingled with Calgary's brightest young professionals while enjoying delicious catering and drinks, live music and a silent auction showcasing the best of local business. The experience continued as guests took a shuttle to an amazing cocktail reception in the heart of Inglewood, which featured the city’s best new artists and music through Exposed.
